Hadley - 3D printed telescope

Designed by Maff

The telescope

Hadley is primarily 3D printed with 3 aluminum rods as the only non-printed structural component. The mirrors are available inexpensively.

Photos

In the right of the header photo is a lunar (near-)occultation of Mars (bottom). To the left of this text is Jupiter and three of it's Galilean moons, with the great red-spot visible.

Robotification

In progress is a motorization of the telescope so it can be aimed at dimmer objects for long exposure photography, as well as ease of locating objects in the eyepiece.
